The Yellow River Protection Law of the People's Republic of China, as adopted at the 37th Session of the Standing Committee of the Thirteenth National People's Congress of the People's Republic of China on October 30, 2022, is hereby issued, and shall come into force on April 1, 2023.
《中华人民共和国黄河保护法》已由中华人民共和国第十三届全国人民代表大会常务委员会第三十七次会议于2022年10月30日通过，现予公布，自2023年4月1日起施行。

Article 1 This Law is developed for the purposes of strengthening the protection of the ecology and environment of the Yellow River basin, guaranteeing the safety of the Yellow River, promoting the conservation and intensive utilization of water resources, driving high-quality development, protecting, inheriting, and promoting the Yellow River culture, and realizing the harmonious coexistence between man and nature and the sustainable development of the Chinese nation.
　　第一条　为了加强黄河流域生态环境保护，保障黄河安澜，推进水资源节约集约利用，推动高质量发展，保护传承弘扬黄河文化，实现人与自然和谐共生、中华民族永续发展，制定本法。
